Privacy Policy

This website, “Fidel The Adjuster,” is run by Fidel Perdomo, a Licensed Florida Public Adjuster (Lic. #W922928) who works under Adjusting Experts. “Fidel The Adjuster” is the name of this website and my social media pages. It is not a separate company. In this policy, “I” and “me” mean Fidel Perdomo.

Information I collect

When you request an inspection, use the chat assistant, or book a time on this website, I collect the contact details you provide (name, phone, email, and a description of your property damage) solely to respond to your request and manage your claim inquiry.

If you request an inspection through a Facebook or Instagram ad form or message me there, the details you submit are delivered to me through Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and I use them the same way. Meta handles that information under its own privacy policy until it reaches me.

How I use your information

I use your information to contact you about your inspection request and, if you hire me, to handle your claim. I do not sell your personal information. Because I work under Adjusting Experts, I may share it with Adjusting Experts for claim handling purposes.

Service providers I share it with

I use a small number of third-party services to run this website, and the details you submit are processed by them on my behalf. They may use your information only to provide their service to me:

Supabase stores your inspection request so it is not lost.
Resend delivers the email that notifies me of your request.
Cal.com schedules your inspection and sends your confirmation and reschedule links.
Vercel hosts this website and processes standard server request logs.
Anthropic provides the AI behind the chat assistant. When the assistant is on, the messages you type in the chat are sent to Anthropic so it can write replies. Please do not type Social Security, bank or card numbers into the chat.

I do not sell your personal information. Apart from the Meta measurement described below, I do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. It may be shared with Adjusting Experts for claim handling, and may be disclosed where required by law.

Text messaging

If you consent to receive text messages, message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any service.

How long I keep it

Inspection requests are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and, if you hire me, for as long as the claim file and Florida recordkeeping obligations require. If you never become a client, you can ask me to delete your request at any time.

Your choices

You can ask me what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email fperdomo@adjustingexperts.com or call (850) 902-2315 and I will handle it. There is no charge, and asking will not affect how I treat your claim.

Analytics, cookies and tracking

I measure how people use this website so I can tell which pages and ads are working. This is what I use:

Vercel Web Analytics counts visits and pages viewed. It does not use cookies and does not identify you.
My own visit log. A random ID is saved in your browser (local storage, not a cookie), together with how you reached the site, such as the ad or link you clicked. I record the pages you view, whether you tap the phone number, email or buttons, and whether you start or send a form. This log contains no name, phone number or email. If you send me an inspection request, the way you reached the site is saved with it so I know which ad or page worked.
Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, the company behind Facebook and Instagram) may be used when I run Facebook or Instagram ads. It sets cookies in your browser and tells Meta that you visited and whether you sent a request, so I can measure my ads and show them to people likely to need help. When you send a request, my server also sends Meta a scrambled (hashed) version of your email and phone number so Meta can match it to your account. I never send Meta what you tell me about your property or claim. Meta uses this data under its own privacy policy.

None of this runs if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. You can also block it in your browser settings or by turning off cookies for this site; the website works either way. You can control the ads you see on Facebook and Instagram in your Meta Ad Preferences. This website's host also records standard server logs, such as IP address and page requested, to keep the site running and secure. I do not sell this information.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes I will update this page and revise the date below. Please check back before submitting new information.
